Everything else, such as the colours, symbols and composition, was left entirely up to the young participants. The Graffiti@Bauschelt project brought together thirteen young people aged between 11 and 25 from the Haute-S\u00fbre lake region, from 19 to 21 September 2025, under the guidance of artist Raphael Gindt from the Kamellebuttek collective, in Baschelt, in the municipality of Boulaide (Bauschelt). Following a brief introduction to the European theme, the participants freely explored what Europe means to young people living in rural areas: freedom of movement, openness towards neighbouring countries, and their relationship with nature and mobility. Their ideas were then translated into sketches, and subsequently into a mural created using spray paint. The project, initially planned for a single wall, was extended to two sections to create visual continuity between the two surfaces.
