The Sommer Foundation is collaborating for the third consecutive year with IMS Luxembourg – Inspiring More Sustainability to organize the Digital Challenge project.
What is Digital Challenge?
Digital Challenge offers high school students (aged 16 to 19) the opportunity to spend a full day immersed in the organization of their choice, working in teams on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
The goal of this project is to introduce students to the professional world while tackling a current issue related to digitalization and/or sustainable development (a “Challenge”). A group of 2 to 5 students will work together to propose an innovative solution to this challenge in collaboration with the organization’s employees.
Why is the Sommer Foundation supporting this initiative?
- Cultural and artistic institutions are valuable professional environments that are often overlooked by high schools and students.
- Due to the success of previous editions, students have specifically requested more opportunities to explore the artistic and cultural fields.
- It is important to showcase the diversity of career opportunities in Luxembourg.
- Digital Challenge helps empower young people through arts and culture.
In 2024, 7 cultural organizations were among the 18 participating companies in the Digital Challenge. The project welcomed 161 students from 15 partner high schools.
Why should you participate?
By joining the Digital Challenge, you will:
- Support youth inclusion in the Luxembourg job market through arts and culture.
- Engage in valuable exchanges with young people, allowing you to better understand and adapt to new generations.
- Promote your institution to future professionals.
- Receive fresh ideas and solutions for one of your current challenges.
Who can participate?
All companies and organizations in Luxembourg are invited to register.
