The Dance Platform, organized by the company AWA – As We Are, takes place over two weeks dedicated to contemporary dance. Its objective is to bring together amateur and professional dance communities in Luxembourg and address current topics in the choreographic field. Since its inception, it has included an educational component for young people, and the year 2023 marked an additional step towards mediation. Indeed, around forty adolescents aged 13 to 16 participated in various workshops led by choreographers Léa Tirabasso and Baptiste Hilbert. These workshops allowed them to explore new gestural techniques and acquire tools for interpreting a piece. Some of them also had the opportunity to participate in a choreographic creation directed by Léa Tirabasso, a work that stimulated their free, spontaneous, and creative expression
