Located in the Pfaffenthal district, in the former presbytery, Canopée manages a 450m² garden plot on the grounds of its headquarters. Since 2021, the association has been developing its socio-cultural project “Arts & Potager” there, a program designed to introduce creative, gardening, and culinary practices to the neighborhood’s childcare centers. Alternating with workshops on gardening basics and raising awareness about sustainable development, artists have led about twenty creative workshops over two years, focusing on the fauna and flora of Canopée’s garden. This project has provided children, from a very young age, with an innovative approach to caring for the earth around them. Due to the project’s success among the public and participants, as well as its proven relevance, a second edition is planned for 2024 and 2025.
