BoussoleArtDY+ is an artistic empowerment project conducted at the Escher Jugendhaus in collaboration with visual artist Peggy Dihé. Combining artist residencies, creative workshops, and cultural mediation, it offered young people a supportive space to explore their identity, develop their confidence, and strengthen their psychosocial skills. From art therapy to drawing, from video to an interactive collaborative mural, more than 200 young people participated in activities that fostered personal expression, group cohesion, and self-determination. Through a participatory approach and numerous local partnerships, the project allowed participants to have enriching experiences and to embed art at the heart of their well-being.
BoussoleArtDY+ now stands as a promising example of non-formal education that has helped lay the groundwork for a potential future “art, expression, and empowerment” hub within the Escher Jugendhaus.
